The visit takes about 1 hour, with time slots reserved for school groups.
We stagger class arrivals, and since your visit is booked your class is expected: the teacher checks in at reception and we take the class straight in, with no queuing at the door.
The museum is in Colmar's pedestrianised city centre. Coaches drop off their passengers and park at Place Lacarre or Rue de la Cavalerie, the two locations designated by the city, about a 10-minute walk away. Group leaders go free.
