The Alsace Wine Fair 2026 (77th edition, FAV, Foire aux Vins d'Alsace) runs from 31 July to 9 August 2026 at the Colmar Exhibition and Congress Centre, Alsace, France. Entry is free on weekdays before 1 pm, then 5 € to 8 €. Ten concert evenings feature Bigflo & Oli, Niska, Kool & The Gang, Gims (sold out), Charlotte Cardin, Mika and a Nuit Blanche electro night on 8 August with Steve Angello and Petit Biscuit. More than 150,000 visitors are expected over the ten-day period.
In late July, the Colmar Exhibition Centre fills up with visitors. The aisles get busy, glasses of riesling are poured, and once evening falls the open-air theatre hosts ten nights of concerts. The Alsace Wine Fair returns for its 77th edition, from Friday 31 July to Sunday 9 August 2026: ten days of tastings, food and headliners from Bigflo & Oli to Mika, including Gims and an electro Nuit Blanche.
Planning your visit? Here is what you need to know for this edition: the exact dates, the concert programme night by night, the opening hours, the entry prices and the passes. And because a weekend in Colmar is about more than the Fair, we point you at the end of the article to a few ways to make the most of your stay in the town centre.
The Alsace Wine Fair (FAV, Foire aux Vins d'Alsace) has taken place in Colmar since 1948, more than 75 years of winemaking tradition in Alsace. This year is its 77th edition, and the principle stays the same: a large park where Alsatian winegrowers, producers, food exhibitors and entertainment come together, with a concert at the open-air theatre every evening. The event is one of the biggest wine-and-culture festivals in France, with more than 150,000 visitors over the full ten-day period and more than 200 exhibitors each year (source: Colmar Expo, 2025 edition figures).

Tickets for the Colmar Wine Fair and its concerts are available at billetterie.colmar-expo.fr, the official ticket office. Concert sales opened on 30 January 2026. For the most popular evenings (Gims on 4 August is already sold out), book as early as possible. General visitor information, maps and shuttle details are on the official Fair site: foire-colmar.com.
The Fair is held at the Exhibition Centre, a short distance from the historic centre. Between two festival days, or in the morning before the stands open, the old town and its museums are worth the detour. Among the many things to do in Colmar, the centre has options for the whole family, teenagers included.
Did you come for Alsace wine? Extend the experience in town. Vino-Storia offers a guided discovery trail of Alsace wines in the centre of Colmar, open to the whole family, ending with a tasting of 3 Alsace wines in proper tasting glasses, a short walk from the Fair.
Right next door, Choco-Story, the Chocolate Museum, rounds off the outing: tastings included and a gourmet trail for young and old.
Wax of Legends is the wax museum in Colmar, located at 12 place de la Cathédrale, 68000 Colmar, open 10 am to 6 pm seven days a week. It brings together 60 wax figures, 30 audio listening points and 15 interactive experiences, with an audioguide available in 6 languages.
Inside, the stars are shown life-size. Mbappé and Messi wait with their boots on, Rihanna poses a few metres away, and Mick Jagger hands you the mic in a studio. These are neither posters nor screens: you pose with them, you play, you share the stage.
Interactive highlights include a penalty shootout against Mbappé and Messi, a roulette table with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, a classroom scene with Einstein, and a film premiere alongside Harrison Ford. Visit duration: 1 h to 1 h 30. Last entries at 5 pm.

Colmar is also the birthplace of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, sculptor of the Statue of Liberty, and Wax of Legends devotes a dedicated room to him. If the figure interests you, the Bartholdi Museum in town continues the story.
To combine several town-centre experiences, duo and trio passes are available (the trio pass includes one free museum entry, valid 7 days from first visit), useful for fitting in a cultural morning before heading back to the open-air theatre in the evening.
